Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AI Skills Academy is operated by Feeed Professional Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 16307177 and registered address Cob Tree Cottage, Pyworthy, Holsworthy, Devon EX22 6LN ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for account and marketing data on this website. Where an employer buys the platform for its staff, that employer is the controller for its learners' training records and we act as its processor. Contact us at privacy@feeedprofessional.com.

2. What we collect

• Account details: name, work email, job title, organisation and team membership, role.
• Learning data: module progress, exercise responses, scores and skill ratings, coaching feedback, streaks, assignments, badges and certificates.
• Questions you ask the in-module AI tutor and messages you send in simulations.
• Information you enter into the business case builder (organisation, industry, headcount, goals).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used for security and rate limiting.

We do not ask for special category data. Please do not paste confidential or personal information about other people into exercise answers or tutor questions.

3. How we use AI

Written exercise answers, tutor questions and simulation messages are sent to our AI provider so the platform can score your work and give coaching feedback. To reduce processing and cost we store AI responses in a short-lived cache keyed to a hash of the request, so identical requests reuse an existing answer. Your content is not used to train third-party foundation models.

4. Legal bases

• Performance of a contract — providing accounts, training and certificates.
• Legitimate interests — securing the service, preventing abuse and improving the product.
• Consent — optional analytics cookies and any marketing email.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records or respond to lawful requests.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform: cloud hosting and database services, authentication providers (including Google sign-in where you choose it), and our AI model gateway. Your organisation's administrators and managers can see the progress and scores of the people they manage. We never sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

Training records are kept for as long as your organisation's account is active, and deleted or anonymised within 12 months of the account closing unless we must keep them longer. Cached AI responses expire automatically (within 30 days). Certificates remain verifiable until revoked.

8. Cookies

We use two categories of cookie and similar local storage:

• Essential — sign-in session, security, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on because the service cannot work without them.
• Optional analytics — aggregate usage measurement. These only run if you select "Accept all".

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where your employer controls your training records, contact them first and we will support their response. Email privacy@feeedprofessional.com to exercise a right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

10. Security and changes

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role, and organisation data is isolated by row-level security. We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the product and the date above will change.
